NEW
PEACOCK BASS
ASSOCIATION.COM FOCUSES
ON WORLD’S MOST EXCITING SPORTFISH
LAKELAND, FL – Larry
Larsen announces the creation of the Peacock Bass Association.com.
“I formed this association because I saw a need to mesh the
avid consumers, industry and destinations into one forum for the
betterment of what has become the fastest growing sport fishery
in the world,” he explains. “The association was created to unify the world’s avid
peacock bass anglers and the outfitters and agents that serve
them; to promote conservation of the peacock bass fishery,
including responsible utilization and promotion of the world’s
greatest freshwater fish; and to offer the most comprehensive,
unbiased information base of booking agents, outfitters and
destinations around the world.”
The organization’s website www.peacockbassassociation.com
provides detailed information on the species, informative
articles on the Peacock Bass in its Information Central section,
details on joining as individual or supporting member, the World
Peacock Bass Directory and Books & Products. Individual
membership is available to avid peacock bass anglers who want to
stay “in the know” of the latest insider information.
Supporting Membership is available to outfitters, booking agents
and industry manufacturers/companies that wish to participate in
the Directory.
“Members will receive a bi-monthly newsletter, ‘The World
of Peacock Bass’ with the latest information relative to
catching peacock bass throughout the world,” added Larsen, the
President and Executive Director, “We’ll have new trip
offerings, pro tips, new lures and tackle, outfitter changes, new
fly-out operations, lodges under construction, boat renovations,
new biological information, and other industry news just as soon
as it breaks.”
Individual
members will also receive the World Peacock
Bass Directory, a
comprehensive research source of destinations, operations,
booking agents, outfitters and industry manufacturers that offer
peacock bass anglers the best trips, tackle and services. This
invaluable reference source is being compiled initially on the
PBA website and later will be available in print form. Members will also receive
discounts on Larry Larsen’s Peacock Bass books and many other
products.
